Hair Evolution

So this is really random, but this is kind of a timeline of the evolution of my hairsyles. The first pic is when I was probably ten, in Lake George. I always wanted to sut my hair short, (before that it went down to like, my knees) so I got it cut short. But, you see, then I had coconut hair, like this. It looks good on other people, just not me because I have a big nose. The first pic was a little wavy because that's how my hair naturally is. SO the second pic I figured short hair was not my thing, so I started curling my hair. I had this weird crunchy curl spray. When I went to middle school I started growing my hair out, so that's the third pic (Shirt/sweatshirt by areopostale, Sunglasses- D&G) Then, the final picture is me a few months ago, I grew my hair out and started pulling it back. My personal favorite for my relatively safe self. Sorry about Lady Gaga behind me. So experiment!

Vegas Style

Las Vegas

So, trip to Las Vegas! There is some really amazing shopping to be had there. So the pictures are of the Dior and Bottega Veneta storefronts. There are some super chic people there, and then you know, some really "interestingly" dressed tourists. Oh! So at a huge vintage fair in Massachusetts I found this beautiful Christian Dior Vintage hatbox (It Looks good as a purse too) and also some amazing vintage fabric, which you should be seeing a lot of soon.

Bottega Veneta Spring 2010 RTW

Anyway, on to the Bottega Veneta Spring 2010, much of it is beautifully architetual, I love the transition from white-cream-taupe-yellow-color. And, much unlike the Vuittan spring shoes I ADORE these Bottega Veneta shoes. They exude spring-summer.

Dior Spring 2010 RTW

The Dior Spring ready-to-wear is just beautiful. It's glam and elegant, and some of the dresses have this georgeous old-hollywood feel. I think it's elegantly sexy too. There's just a plethora of different colors and styles, how could you go wrong. Sooo, This week at my Middle School is Spirit week, and we have Mix-match day and Career day along with everything else. You should have seen the girls who came in a Gorilla and Chicken suit. That's style right there. I'll update my them pictures tomorrow. Career day: Fashion designer! Plus I cut up 'VOGUE' (http://www.vogue.com/) to make pins for my outfit. YAY! So excited. Stay Georgeous. :)

Boho 2010 and LV spring

So here's today's look. It's a skip from the neon I wore yesterday but I think the dark floral and black lace gives my dress an interesting touch. It's my version of the Bohemian look everyone was going for last spring and summer. I think this look is a mix between the Louis Vuittan spring and something Miley Cyrus might wear. Well... maybe.

Belt by Amethyst, Dress by Wet Seal, Vintge jewelry (Photo, theinsider.com)

So I love the flowy look of the Luis Vuittan spring collection. The clothing is beautiful but i'm not a fan of most of the shoes. The fur lined boots with strange alpaca fur on the front is just not for me. It would get so dirty... it's just not wearable, however I really do appreciate the kitten heels, and at least this collection was something different for a change. I would have liked to see something more summery, but you can only do so much. Something like the Vuittan spicy sandals of the year past... I would have love some of those, but me, being A) 13 B) upper-middle class and C) Clumsy, will sadly never own any shoes like that. About I run on photos mostly, because the only time I really experience high fashion is my yearly trip to New York with my friends... that's in a couple of days too. I'll figure out what i'm going to wear. :)

Candy Coated - Spring

So, for the spring i've been thinking I need to wear more bright clothes, because over the winter i've sunken into a grey slump. I was kind of inspired by the neon Michael Kors fur coats that were in all the magazines a few months ago.

- T-shirt by Bitter Sweet, Pants by aeropostale, bracelets and hairtie as armband by The icing, headband by icing, sandals by Montego Bay, tank by No Boundaries, Towel by Aerie -

So for the spring and summer (yay!) You *could* wear all brights, but probably wear neutrals with your neons (I dont think that's the look for me- I'm crazy) BUT if you were going to do all brights, colors look better with their complementary colors.

- Blue - Orange
- Red - Green
- Yellow - Purple

Those happen to be the only set of complementary colors I know- That's all of them I think. But you know what I think I'll work on this spring is being more outgoing, and being bright and cheery with my clothes- so for the spring experiment to your heart's content :)
